We look at the world with such a limited mindset that we fail to recognize the feasability of most recommended solutions. Model UN is a simulation of UN-styled debate that brings current and historical issues or topics that require solutions. These are paired with fruitful debates and negotiations between nations of the world. MUN teaches individuals on how to search for sources, learn about topics of the world, debate with speed and efficiency on the spot, and learn about the entire world and its components to change it for the better. Starting with a handful of students who knew nothing about MUN, they worked diligently paired with my guidance to be comfortable to debate in front of large crowds and adapt to given circumstances.
