The NIHR's mission is to improve the health and wealth of the nation, and patients, carers and the public are integral to the way we do this. In the East of England RRDN we feel that research should be embedded across the NHS and Social Care, so too should patient and public involvement.
Thank you to everyone who continues to work with us to offer participants the chance to feedback on their research experience through the East of England RRDN PRES.
For further information and resources please visit the patient and public involvement page of the East of England RRDN hub.
Annual PRES Report Findings published
The NIHR has published its Participant in Research Experience Survey (PRES) annual report 2024/25, referred to as Research Participant Voices: Insights from the NIHR Participant in Research Experience Survey (PRES). The 2024/25 survey showed that most people had a good experience taking part in research, including 91% of adults and 87% of children and young people saying they would be happy to take part in research again.
