RCGP Research and Surveillance Centre
The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) Research and Surveillance Centre (RSC) are excited to announce that they are continuing to expand their sentinel practice network and are looking for new members to join. The Centre was founded in 1957 and since then it has been an active research and surveillance unit that collects and monitors data, with more than 460 member practices across England. Most of these research studies are adopted through the Clinical Research Network (CRN), so if practices join the network they could help contribute to practice study participant recruitment.
Members will benefit from:
Payment for promptly returning signed agreements - £50 if completed within one week of receipt
Free access to paid E-learning training – reimbursement for up to 3 people for their time (£30 per person) - a certificate will be provided as evidence for CPD
Payments for workload questionnaire completion - £75 per questionnaire; 2 to be completed
Opportunity to participate in funded research – streamlined access to commercial and non-commercial studies, funding aligned with the CRN’s costing templates
Individual support – dedicated team of Practice Liaison Officers provide individual practice support and training
Unlimited access to an individual dashboard - continuous feedback on coding. This can in turn be used as evidence of constant quality improvement for CQC inspection
Free Research Ready Advanced accreditation - standard fee of £50 per year applies for non-RSC members
