Greetings Bobcats,
It has been a busy week for our intermediate bobcats. We have taken our reading and math benchmarks to see where all of our students are at the start of the year. This will allow us to track our students’ growth throughout the year. At this point in the year we are diving head first into our academics. On Friday, our 6th graders had the opportunity to learn about the Safe2Say Something program with Officer Goodman & Officer Brice. Be sure to ask them about it. Have a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

Safe2Say: This week our 6th graders learned about Safe2Say. Safe2Say is an anonymous tip reporting system. This program teaches students, teachers, and administrators to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, of individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and Say Something to a trusted adult OR use its anonymous reporting system. Students are often aware of the problems their peers are facing, and S2SS gives them one more tool to help keep each other safe.
