Happy Friday Bobcats! We were excited to welcome our families in for our Family Engagement Conferences on Wednesday and Thursday this week.  It is always wonderful to discuss the growth of our students.  We also had the opportunity to celebrate our students’ academic success during our 1st marking period awards ceremonies.   Students were recognized for their accomplishments in ELA, STEM and Citizenship.  The APEX team has been here all week teaching lessons to all of our classes.  We are excited to host our APEX color run on Thursday.  Have a wonderful weekend Bobcats!

Upcoming Events:

• APEX Color Run -(Thursday, November 14th) Sign-up here! We need volunteers to count laps as the kids run, throw color, and to cheer on the kids! The run will be in the Triplex Field. Let's make this event the best one yet!

• APEX:  Our APEX color run is soon approaching.   Apex is a two-week interactive leadership and character-building program combined with a fitness focused event fundraiser to help our PTO raise funds that help support the school and to cover the cost of field trips.  The leadership program focuses on developing student self-control, decision making and interpersonal skills vital for school and life success. The quick, engaging lessons tie in with our school’s vision and mission, encourage students to create a positive environment, and inspire them to lead by example.   On Monday November 4th APEX kicks off the program with a pep rally.   This is followed by daily classroom lessons that lead up to the color run that will take place on November 14th.
