Happy Friday, Bobcat families!
We have completed our first week of PSSAs and you should be so proud of the hard work your Bobcats put in during our testing days this week. We had a short day today, so enjoy the extra time with the family! We will continue with our PSSAs on Monday with our Math sections, so take some time to study up and prepare for those. Our 5th graders will also take their Science PSSA next week online, and we know that they are going to do their best! Please take a look below for our weekly updates and information.
As an awesome shoutout to a team of educators on our 5th Grade Team: Ms. Bird, Mr. Gratacos, and Mrs. McWilliams. At the completion of their unit on the Renaissance and the creative scientific minds of the time period, these three educators hosted a Wax Museum, Sculpture exhibit, poetry display, and Newsletter Gallery walk for their students to show off their knowledge and understanding of the Renaissance! Students highlighted the unique stories of these historical figures, learned fun facts about their creations, and even tried their hands at coding to "protect the Mona Lisa". It was a great time, and it was wonderful to see the students able to highlight their work and the work of their peers. Smiles of pride, appreciation, and excitement were "painted" all over the place (see what we did there!?) and we are proud of our students and creative educators!
