Greetings Bobcats,

     Today our Bobcats celebrated their positive behaviors and staying on TRACKS with our first TRACKS Bash of the year.   Students chose from a menu of activities to enjoy.  It is hard to believe that we have already reached the midpoint of the first marking period, the year is already flying by.  Have a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.  

SFI Smencils:  Our AR committee will be selling smencils in the lobby every Friday morning beginning in October.

Car Rider Drop Off Update:  If your intermediate student is not a car rider, please disregard.  

• On Monday, September 30th, the intermediate buildings are going to begin allowing car riders into the building at an earlier time.  Currently, we open our doors to car riders at 8:25.  Beginning on Monday, we will have car riders unload and begin to enter the building at 8:15.  Car riders will be able to enter the cafeteria to have breakfast and/or wait to go to their classrooms at 8:35.   

• It is our hope that this helps alleviate some of the triplex congestion in the morning.  

Intermediate Mile:  All Intermediate students (Grades 4, 5, &6) from Northeastern School District are welcome to participate!

• What?  Intermediate 1-mile run

• When?  Wednesday, 5:00 PM on  October 30th

• Where?  Behind Northeastern Middle School

• Other Details:  

  • Awards/Ribbons to the top 5 male and female finishers

  • All Intermediate students (Grades 4, 5,& 6) from Northeastern School District are welcome to participate!

SFI Envirothon 2025:  All students that have an interest in nature and the environment, but also love competing - Check out Envirothon 2025! 

• Envirothon is a group of students led by three teachers that will study three topics throughout the school year after school and then compete to win against other schools from York County.

• Deadline for signing up is October 4.

• We will have our first meeting Tuesday, October 8 from 3:20 to 4:30 in the first floor science lab. Adults will pick up students in front of SFI at 4.:30

SFI PTO:

• SBI/SFI Movie Night is TONIGHT!   

  • We're excited to see you all for a fun night under the stars. In case of rain, we'll be moving indoors to Shallow Brook. This is a free event, but please remember that students must be accompanied by an adult. Concessions will be available for purchase, so bring your blankets and chairs to get comfy!

• If you pre-purchased a meal, you can just head to the concessions stand and give your name for pick-up. We also have a few families who haven't paid yet, so please bring a form of payment with you.
