Greetings Bobcat families,

We successfully completed the ELA PSSA tests. Next week our Bobcats will complete the Math and 4th grade Science portion of the PSSA.  Today, we celebrated Earth Day by using a frisbee as our plates during lunch.  Please see below for more information on upcoming activities and events at the Intermediate!

• Fighting Gracefully Shirts:   Grace Collier, one of our 6th grade students, was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.  If you know Grace, she is a bright, kind and overall happy kiddo that we all love.   We have designated every Tuesday as purple day…Grace’s favorite color.   Please send your students to school wearing purple, every Tuesday, in support of Grace.

  • Grace’s teachers and fellow students also created a Fighting Grace-Fully shirt design.   Shirts may be ordered and purchased in the link below.  All proceeds will be used to help Grace and her family as they battle this disease.

• Rock-N-Bowl:

  • The final Rock-N-Bowl of the school year will be on Friday, May 17th from 6:00-8:00 PM

SFI PTO Information:

• Moe's Popup: We are hosting a Moe's Popup on Tuesday, April 30th. These take-home family fajitas kits are ready to eat, plus for every kit sold, $12 is donated to Spring Forge PTO. The Meal Kits feed 4-6, come with all the fixings to make up to 12 fajitas, and are $48.00(+tax). * You do not have to have an SFI student to purchase a kit. Anyone in the community can purchase and pick up a meal kit to go.

  • How to Order: 

1. Place your order by 1:00pm on Monday, April 29th. Fill out this form to submit your order HERE

2. Pick up will be at 100 S Hartman St, Manchester, PA 17345 between 5:30-6:00pm on Tuesday, April 30th.

• BuyOneGetOne Bookfair: Our final book fair of the year is 5/6-5/10 during lunch/recess and karaoke night. We hold 2 profit fairs a year so that we can earn this special deal for our SFI families. Everything is buy one get one of equal or lesser value. Sign up for an eWallet HERE

• Volunteers are needed to help students get the most bang for their buck, to encourage them to choose similarly priced items. All time slots DURING school hours require district approved volunteers. Sign up HERE

• Karaoke Night: SFI PTO will be hosting our first ever Karaoke Night on Friday, May 10th from 6-8pm in the cafeteria. With any new event, I am sure there will be some bugs to work out, but we are very excited to offer this event for our intermediate families. Sing solo, with your family or friends, or simply listen to others and dance along. We will have a list of approved songs. Snacks will be available for sale (cash only).
