Summer 2026 BME Courses (offered through UNC)
BMME 201, BMME 207, BMME 205 (lecture only) will likely be offered and will likely be remote synchronous. Check back in Spring for confirmed course offerings.
Other Institutions
You can complete Engineering Fundamentals or GEP/General Education courses at NC State, UNC, or your local community college. Use these tools to see which courses transfer over to NC State and UNC from other institutions.
Study Abroad
The BME department has two summer study abroad programs. Program offerings vary each summer. Check the Advising website or with your advisor.
“Colombia: Biomedical Electronics” (BM(M)E 207 and Technology of Iron Man) This will NOT be offered in Summer 2026.
"Scotland: Design and Innovation in a Universal Healthcare System" (BMME 398H and HNRS 362) This will NOT be offered in Summer 2026.
