Steps for Implementing IEEE 802.11 WLAN OFDM Beacon Receiver with USRP Hardware

1. Connect one USRP to a virtual machine which will act as a OFDM Receiver.

2. Copy ‘sdruwlanofdm80211BeaconRx’ MATLAB script on the editor.

3. Type ‘findsdru’ in the command window. The status should be ‘Success’ as shown in the screenshot below.

4. Run the Matlab script and follow the instructions given in the screenshot.

5. Thus, in this example, with the help of USRP, a WLAN receiver is implemented which is able to recover the 802.11 OFDM non-HT beacon frames transmitting over the air.
