SDR Software Development Plans for Phase-2 General Availability

For Phase-2, we are planning to integrate the X310, N310, and X410 to experiment examples.

We plan to develop the following sample experiments (tentative) for Phase-2 with NI USRPs:

• ExEp-6: LTE Handover from one base station to another

• ExEp-7: Multiple UEs

• ExEp-8: Exploring Tx/Rx diversity and 2x2 MIMO

• ExEp-9: 5G NR SDR system configuration and testing with OAI and SRS

• ExEp-10: mmWave radio links

We will also work with our user community to prioritize use cases and experiment scenarios, and may post additional example experiments by the end of Phase-2..

Integration of other Equipment to Phase-2 General Availability

Apart from USRP experiments, we will also post tutorials, documentation, and sample experiments with other AERPAW equipment, such as the Ericsson network, Keysight RF sensors, Keysight Propsim channel emulator, Facebook Terragraph radios, and LoRa equipment.
