4.1.3) GNU Radio Experiments

This page provides sample software code to execute AERPAW experiments that rely on GNURadio as the radio software.  The provided software is tested by the AERPAW team both in the development environment and in the AERPAW testbed.

Additional sample experiments are expected to be added in the future. Each experiment is prefixed with GE (GNURadio Experiment) and indexed in a chronological order based on the first time they are introduced in the user manual.

Please note that GNU Radio is already installed in all Experimenter containers. Please do not install your own version (as it will likely break the development environment).

Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS)

For GNURadio, the radio graph is available to the Experimenter to change as desired. As such, the MCS used by the communication graphs can be changed (both the transmitter and receiver ends should be changed in tandem). The documentation page for the provided sample OFDM transmitter receiver has instructions on how to change the MCS between BPSK, QPSK and 16QAM.
