Save to your Documents

Filling Frames

Select a Frame, File> Place. In the Place window, check the 'Show import options' in the lower left of the dialog box.
Locate the project file and select 'Open'
Scroll through Preview window using arrows to preview then select the picture, Open.
Object (or right click) > Fitting > Fit Content Proportionally

Link and Embed files

In the Links window, select image. Under options > Embed link (to select all images: select first image, hold Shift, select last).
InDesign files (such as the Emotion Symbols layout) need to be Exported as a .pdf before being placed.
For Infographic Process frame, take a screenshot of multiple grid ideas and/or graphics/symbols.
SAVE with all Links Embedded. Drag a copy into your student drive (StuHomes)

Upload all Project Files to your Google Drive

Open your Google Drive, under New > Folder. Name it Graphics 1
Open the new Graphics 1 folder and upload all these files and folders from your computer:

Emotion Symbols folder (include both .ai and .ind with image links embedded)
Robots (black and white and color files)
Positive/Negative studies
Logo with Letters folder
Silhouette folder
Alphabet Critters (both Bembo's Zoo and Alphabeasties)
Color Theory folder with Wrapping Paper and Color Themes and Moods (embed all links in .indd poster)
Infographic
Large Letter Postcard Folder (all associated files and docs, embed images/links)
Your completed TSA portfolio.

As you turn in your portfolio, create a new Google doc. to tell me about your favorite project this year. What design and technical skills did you learn from that project? What would you do differently if/when you do a project like it in the future?
