The Academic Team is a close knit, intellectual group of cadets who put in time and effort to study the NJROTC curriculum in depth. They go above and beyond what a typical cadet is expected to know in terms of academics.
Cadets who feel they are not athletic or don't have a desire to participate on the drill team should consider the Academic Team. Textbooks and study guides for Academic testing and competitions are provided and can be take home by the cadet for study and practice on their own time. In addition, study page links are provided under the Academic Pages on the left.
2022/2023 SY: Three teams out of five teams ranked Nationally and in Area 5. Team 3 ranked 123rd Nationally and 14th in Area 5, Team 2 ranked 123rd Nationally and 14th in Area 5 397th. Team 5 ranked 1,378th Nationally and 144th in Area 5.
2023/2024 SY: Three teams out of five teams ranked Nationally and in Area 3. Team 1 ranked 49th Nationally and 2nd in Area 3, Team 4 ranked 542nd Nationally and 19th in Area 3. Team 2 ranked 1,241st Nationally and 38th in Area 3.
