DIRECTIONS
1. The options are only limited by a child's creativity. I am open to hearing their ideas and working with a student to add credit opportunities based on their learning goals, and personal choices.
2. Each task assigned adds extra credit points to your quarterly language arts, math, science or social studies grade. Please understand that this will not be added to your total grade (i.e. if you have a 65 it will not become a 70) but rather it will be entered in as an assignment that is worth points, so it is averaged in.
3. You are limited to four tasks per quarter, for a maximum total of 15 extra credit points.
4. Before carrying out one of these tasks, please speak with Mrs. Etchart so that she may create a rubric for you to give you a clear picture of what is expected of you. You must have received a rubric or the assignment WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please allow a 48 hour turn around for rubrics.
5. ALL extra credit assignments, are due one week prior to the end of the trimester. No exceptions.
