Not only should every student be reading at least 30 minutes a day, but if students see their parent or family members reading regularly, they are more likely to express and interest and be willing to read as well
Students need to develop a GROWTH MINDSET. This is a way of thinking, and understanding that their learning and achievement is not fixed but growing and changing. Students can learn but they have to believe it and be persistent.
