Superstructure
It is an upward expansion of an existing structure above a ground level baseline that generally meets the structure's intended purpose. Some specifications of material and techniques proposed to be taken in project are mentioned below.
Ashcrete is a recycled fly ash-based concrete. It is generally used in place of traditional concrete. Fly ash is combined with lime and water to create a strong and long-lasting cement that is similar to traditional cement. Advantages of using this:
Lighter & Stronger than traditional concrete
Highly Sustainable
Flood Proof
High Resistant to Fire & Acid.
High response to drastic temperature & Corrosion.
A lot more cheaper than traditional concrete.
It is most commonly used bricks with a great benefit of it's aesthetics and cost saving.
It will not only decrease the unnecessary manufacturing of new materials and emissions, but it will also reduce landfill trash.
Used brick is already weathered.
Process of Using Reclaimed Bricks
Reclaimed bricks may be selected for aesthetic reasons, but they must be technically appropriate for new work. It Includes:
Cleaning Of Mortar
Chemical Cleaning
Matching Colors & Textures
Stabilization of Old Brick Surfaces
Distressed Bricks
Many reclaimed bricks often possess a distinct distressed appearance as a result of the process of reclamation.
Conclusion:
The use of reclaimed bricks should not be discouraged provided that users are conscious of their qualities and are able to correctly evaluate their fitness for purpose in the context of the proposed application. Their high cost is a reflection of demand and the cost of reclamation, rather than the intrinsic quality of the material.
Polyurethane waterproof insulation is used here. The most efficient means of drastically minimizing heat loss through walls while also guaranteeing that moisture does not move to the inner wall.
This is a much better insulated structure with a real advantage, as it does not increase the width of wall.
It makes it possible to cover more of the cavity between the inner and outer leaf with insulation.
The cavity wall is thinner with high level of thermal performance.
Installation is relatively cheap, simple & fast.
Product Specification:
It is a method to support the flooring made up of pre stressed concrete T-beams and laid perpendicular to the block walls.
It's very easy and fast to install.
Highly economic.
Offers increased acoustic & resistance towards fire.
The precast concrete beams are laid in rows with the ends supported by the blockwork inner leaf of a cavity wall. A damp-proof course (DPC) is located between the beams and supporting blocks to prevent rising damp.
"The choice of material is one of the factors that determine the thickness of insulation needed, along with the required U-value and the perimeter-to-area ratio (P/A) of the floor. Insulation manufacturers provide look-up tables to simplify the calculation process and also generally offer a free calculation service or online U-value calculator.
It is good to go with the flat roof if we are looking for a terrace garden and high functionality.
It offers lower construction and repair cost.
It will be equipped with EPDM which stands for ethylene propylene diene monomer. It provides high resistance against heat & weather.
Environmental benefit of Flat Green Roof:
Increased Energy Efficiency
Improved sound insulation
Storm Water Run-off
Amenity Space for building users
Aesthetic Benefit
Longer life of the waterproof roof membrane
Habitat Creation & Opportunities for biodiversity
In a nutshell, triple glazing consists of three panes of glass within a sealed frame. A pocket of air or an inert gas, such as argon, is sandwiched between each glass; argon is heavier than air and acts as a noise and heat insulator.
It helps to reduce the condensation on our windows.
They are quiet expensive but offers significant reduction in noise.
Helps to improve the thermal performance of the building.
Lower energy expenses as a result of increased efficiency.
Making your home more secure by making it more difficult to break into.
Possibility of increasing the value of your property
FACT: We identified the thermal performance of a triple-glazed window, which is generally 40-50 percent greater than a double-glazed window but only 10-15% more expensive, utilizing systems.
At this stage, lightweight or medium-density blocks with a thickness of 100mm are usually employed.
It is quicker to install than traditional ones.
Can be load bearing if required.
Offers significant sound insulation in building.
Details:
Both leaves have 9mm OSB Sheating Board on the cavity side.
With Rockwool wired matt employed as vertical and horizontal barriers and fire stops, the cavity was properly sealed against fire. If needed, the cavity can be entirely insulated to attain a zero U Value.
Factory-installed airtight membrane
Between the two leaves of the dividing wall, there must be at least a 40mm cavity.
C16, untreated 89mm studs, all chopped ends
Sole Plates That Have Been Treated C16 Treated Timber with DPC Installed
Insulation – Mineral wool insulated party walls to satisfy fire and acoustic standards
Factory installed 15mm Type A plaster board to meet fire and acoustic regulations
To fulfil fire and acoustic norms, 15mm Type F plaster board was factory installed. Type F overlays type A joints.
The Party Wall service is no longer available. Battens, 38mm x 46mm
Only the completely closed system includes electrical conduits/boxes and an additional layer of plasterboard on the interior side of the service void.
