International Field Schools at MRU are faculty-led, academic group travel opportunities that combine one or more credit courses with learning in the field abroad.
Field School participants will integrate the course teachings and materials with the international location, resulting in a high-impact, experiential learning opportunity.
A variety of different field school opportunities are available each academic year. The list of available field schools and specific details about each offering can be found online at www.mtroyal.ca/fieldschools. Most field schools will run every two years.
Some field schools may be faculty or program specific but many are open to all students regardless of academic discipline. Many field school courses have a GNED equivalent to allow more students to participate.
