Double Bounce Rule:
Each team must play their first shot off of the bounce. That is, the receiving team must let the serve bounce and the serving team must let the return of the serve bounce before playing it. Once these two bounces have occurred, the ball can either be volleyed or played off the bounce.

GENERAL RULES
If the pickle ball hits the line it in IN
If the pickle ball hits the ceiling it is OUT
If the pickle ball hits the net on a RALLY, and goes over, play continues
Re-do any interference with the basketball hoops so long as the pickle ball would have remained in play had the interference not occurred
The pickle ball may only be hit ONCE per side
ROTATION OF COURTS
There are 8 courts in the gym
Top court (court 8) plays to 7. All other games are timed.
People in the bleachers waiting are next onto the court after the whistle.
When you hear the whistle it indicates the top courts game is over.
Winners move up a court and losers move down a court.
Play begins as soon as both teams arrive at the court.
The team waiting in the bleachers goes on the court they are waiting for and the losing team goes to the bleachers.
BOUNDARIES
All courts will use the ORANGE for their boundaries all the way around.

Non-Volley Zone AKA "The Kitchen":
To volley means to hit a ball in the air without first letting it bounce. In Pickle-ball®, this can only be done when the player’s feet are BEHIND and NOT touching the non-volley zone LINE. If any part of your body touches the Non-Volley Zone including the line itself while performing a volley, it is a fault and the opposing team is awarded a point. PURPLE line on court).
