DEFINITION: A game with rackets in which a birdie is played back and forth across a net.
SERVICE
Service is from the BLUE LINE in the MIDDLE of the court.
Service must be UNDERHAND, SIDE-ARMED or BACKHAND.
A point IS scored on every service.
There are NO FAULTS. That means a FAILED SERVE (DOES NOT GO OVER NET OR IS NOT HIT) attempt results in a POINT for the opposing team.
If the birdie hits the net on the SERVE and goes OVER play CONTINUES.
Student who serves CONTINUES TO SERVE until they LOSE the point.
RALLY SCORING:
When serving team loses the point THREE things will happen :
The OPPOSING team gets the POINT.
The OPPOSING team ROTATES.
The OPPOSING team gets the SERVE.
Team rotates CLOCKWISE when winning the serve.
Team who lost serve DOES NOT ROTATE until they WIN THE SERVE BACK.
