Learning Intentions - Unité 3 - “Quelle Rigolade”
1. Can you speak about what you did at camp or during a weekend with friends? You are to say at least 8+ things using the past tense (le passé composé). Minimum standard: what is said is in understandable French.
2. Can you listen to and understand a passage of French? You will hear someone talking about what they did at camp, and at what time they did certain things. You will need to make notes in English. Minimum standard: at least 7 pieces of information correct.
3. Can you read and understand a passage of French about a holiday people went on? You will need to read a passage of French in the past tense and answer in English the questions that follow. Minimum standard: 6 questions answered correctly.
4. Directed dialogue. Can you write key expressions about a particularly busy day during which you felt tired, hungry, thirsty, scared, had a headache, etc. Minimum standard: that what you write is in understandable French.
5. YES!! Not only have you been chosen to write ANOTHER article “passionnant” about your camp for the prestigious French magazine “Paris Match”, but you know your French teacher is going to be reading it! You can now use as much “show off” French as possible. Minimum standard: most of your content is accurate, with linking words, negatives, and “show off” expressions. You linguistic extrovert you! YOU ARE TO USE THE PAST TENSE.
