Wheeler Community,

What an incredible energy we’ve had throughout our hallways this week! It was a true joy to celebrate Staff Appreciation Week, and I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who showered our teachers with kindness, treats, and gratitude—your support truly fuels our team. We also wrapped up a powerful Inclusion Week, highlighted by our first-ever Unified Basketball game against Rohwer Elementary; seeing our students compete and cheer together was a moment of pure community pride. From our 2nd graders thriving during their “stores” event and kindergartners exploring nature on science walks, to our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders showing incredible focus as they kicked off state testing season, our students continue to shine.

As we head into Spring Break, I wish you all a restful and rejuvenating week. In the spirit of finding balance, I have asked our teachers to fully unplug and have placed a moratorium on emails during the break so they can recharge for the final stretch of the school year. We look forward to seeing everyone back, refreshed and ready to finish strong!
