Wheeler Community,
We have made it through MAP testing! We appreciate how focused and determined Wheeler students were in giving their best effort on this benchmark assessment. MAP testing helps teachers prepare & plan for students to learn where they are at! Next Tuesday after Labor Day, there is no school for students, but teachers will be working really hard at school that day to set up instruction for the rest of the semester.
We are also excited for our Boosterthon Fun Run Fundraiser that we are kicking off next week! This fundraiser allows us to meet the needs of our students and provide meaningful and memorable experiences for our staff & students. This will culminate in students participating in a Fun Run event on Friday, September 19th. More information to come from me on that!

Medication is given at school only when necessary. All unexpired medication (prescription or non-prescription) must be brought to school by an adult in the original container. Do not send medication with a student or in their backpack. A current medication card must be on file in the health room for any medication to be given to students at school. You can complete this process during Open House in the office.
Please go to Millard Public Schools Food Service website for the menu. The site can also help you to learn more about My School Bucks for depositing money in your child’s lunch account and/or to find the application for FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH.
If your child will be eating breakfast at school, we ask that they please arrive between 8:15 - 8:25 so they can eat breakfast and start the school day on time at 8:30.
Questions? Please reach out to Mrs. Campbell (llcampbell@mpsomaha.org) for answers to your questions.
