Wheeler Community,

We want to wish everyone in our community a very Happy New Year! The highlight of our week at wheeler was definitely welcoming the kids back through our doors; the building truly comes to life when they are here. Thank you for helping them get back into the swing of things—we’re excited to partner with you for a great year ahead!

Please know that you can anticipate report cards being sent home next Friday, the 16th.

Community Reminders

If you are dropping your student(s) off after the doors close around 8:35, the adult dropping off must accompany kids inside and sign them in. Please do not send kids by themselves to the doorbell.
If someone different and/or not listed in ParentVue is picking up, please help streamline the process by calling the front office (402.715.6250) to notify us. We are unable to release students to adults not listed on ParentVue without your permission
Please ensure and confirm dismissal plans with your child(ren). We want to ensure kids are always safe and making their way home or to a childcare as they are supposed to.

We always prefer to go outside for recess and believe in the benefit of physical activity, fresh air, and peer interactions/socializing that recess brings! For Grade Level & Lunch Time Recess - if the "feels like" temp is 10 or above, we will go outside. You will be asked to share your First & Last Name and the reason for your visit. You will only be allowed access into the office with our new vestibule.
Please have your ID ready to share with office staff for verification
Someone else picking up? Please call the office to notify and that adult will have to show ID to confirm who we are releasing student to.
