The Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is a nationally recognised senior secondary certificate, which is designed to be completed over a minimum of two years. Students have the option of choosing a Vocational Education and Training (VET) course in their VCE program (see VET tab).
Two versions of the VCE Certificate are available for students moving into Year 11. Standard VCE and the VCE Vocational Major (VM).
At Mount Erin, students completing the standard VCE Certificate will undertake English and specific studies that they are interested in, and complement their individual career pathway.
Students at Mount Erin College will select:
six studies in year 11 (12 units)
five studies in year 12 (10 units)
VCE students are supported by the Senior School teachers, House Leadership team, the Careers team, the Wellbeing team and the Assistant Principal (Teaching and Learning).
