This is an exciting time in a student’s life, beginning with the important move from the end of Primary School at Form 6 to the start of Secondary School in Form 7. Our program offers a broad and balanced educational program that both engages students in their learning and effectively prepares them for the Cambridge IGCSE program.
7th to 9th Form students participate in a range of community initiatives such as field visits, clean-ups and community support activities on a weekly basis.
The students learn a range of geographical enquiry skills and put these into practice on the trips. These skills include land-use mapping, field sketching, asking and answering geographical questions and carrying out environmental quality surveys and traffic surveys.
From September 2021 onwards, the Local Studies programme will be merged with the Cambridge Lower Secondary Global Perspectives programme, which will run throughout Key Stage Three (yr7,8 & 9) in Mougins School. This programme develops the skills of research, analysis, evaluation, reflection, collaboration and communication. It also strengthens cross-curricular links with English as a first or second language, Mathematics, Science and ICT.
