Artist’s Statement: 

The idea came from my best friend Yuming's favourite sport, basketball. Both of us usually go to the basketball court downstairs to play, and since I am not so good at it, I usually miss when shooting from afar, hence explaining why the ball missed the hoop in the end. The letters "NBA" on top refer to the National Basketball Association, the highest league in the world for basketball, where my best friend wishes to play in someday.
