Artist’s Statement: The idea came from my apple watch as I had recently received it as my birthday present. Some of my watch cases that came with it are quite unique. One of them has a robot-like design which I have zoomed in on in the artwork. I decided to colour it in bright colours as they represent positive energy.

Artist’s Statement: When I started this artwork, I knew I wanted to draw something ordinary. Since it was Abstract Art, I wanted to show that beautiful and intricate things can be found in daily life and my pencil case was the first thing I saw and it fits the aesthetic sense I was going for. I drew many different patterns and coloured them with various different colours, showing that any original bland colours can become a colourful mosaic.

Artist’s Statement: I drew my correction tape in Box 1 as it was the only object I had which I felt could be made into an artwork. I used different colours for my final design and I tried my best to create contrast between the colours. I added some eyes to my final design to make it look unique.

Artist’s Statement: The idea came from toy cars as they are my brother's favourite toy. Some of his toy car wheels are special and unique. They have a symbol or design on the wheel which is why I zoomed in on the wheel. I coloured the wheel in rainbow colours as rainbow represents hope and promises.
