Positive & Negative Space refer to composition in artworks. Positive space is the subject or areas of interest in artwork, and negative space is the space around the focal point. The balance of positive and negative spaces is essential when creating artworks.

Artist’s Statement: It's always good to have closed ones be it family members, friends with us. I did the cutting with the intention of using silhouette as the focus. Simples shapes are easy to cut however when it comes to complicated shapes scissor is unable to achieve.

Artist’s Statement: This is a black and white artwork and it is inspired by flowers. This artwork reminds me of the garden that is near my house and I have always enjoyed going there. There is a flower, two leaves and a butterfly. That is why I decided to name it "Flower Garden".
