Water Lilies ( 1916 ), depicts Monet’s flower garden, at his home in Giverny. He painted water lilies in all seasons and in all weathers for over 30 years.

The paintings captivate the serene beauty of nature, immersing viewers in a tranquil realm of floating blossoms and shimmering reflections.

Title of Artwork: My Fruit Basket

Size of Artwork: 38 cm x 27.5 cm

Artist’s Statement: I wanted to create a fruit basket because I like fruits and I eat them every day. I Think that if I add a lot of fruits inside the basket, it would be more colourful and the picture would be more vibrant. I like to add different colours to the artwork so that it makes the person looking at the artwork feels happier. I chose to draw lines for the basket as it resembles the wood.
