The term "agamograph" is named after the Israeli artist Yaacov Agam, a pioneer in the field of kinetic art and one of the founders of Op Art (Optical Art).

Artist’s Statement: 'Apects of Art’ as the title of my artwork as half of my artwork were of shapes and the other half, materials used for art. They were both very important in the world of Art. These two aspects were necessary in completing and creating an artwork. Shapes were one of the many foundations in drawing and the materials, needless to say, was what we used to make our drawings come to life. This was why I portrayed them in my work, to illustrate how these 2 aspects worked hand in hand to create a masterpiece.
