On 9th Oct 2026, our Hillgrove NPCC cadets headed to Salt & Light Archery for their marksmanship training! 🏹

It was a great opportunity for our cadets to develop focus, precision, patience and self-discipline. Learning to stay calm, take aim and improve with every shot.

Well done to all our cadets who stepped up and gave it their best today. Every shot is a chance to learn, adjust and aim better! 🎯💪

Kudos to the three marksman - SGT Nabil, SGT Rayyan and CPL Zunnur.

Today 7th Oct, our students swapped the classroom for the water! A great experience learning teamwork, coordination and perseverance through dragon boating. 💪🌊

Unfortunately, due to the haze, we had to shorten the session for everyone’s safety.

On 14th Aug, Our Sec 1 cadets had a blast at the Area 18 Games Day held at Greenridge Secondary School! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

It was a fun-filled day of games, teamwork, bonding and great memories! 💪✨

A big thank you to AC (Assistant Commissioner) Mr Ang for gracing the event, and to our wonderful host, Greenridge Secondary School, for making the event possible.

Well done to everyone involved! 👏

13 Aug 2026 : Today, we proudly celebrated the promotion of 90% of our cadets—from our Secondary 1 Cadets to Lance Corporals, Secondary 2s to Corporals, and the remaining Secondary 3s to Sergeants.

I am delighted to see how much each and every one of them has grown. We still have work to do in improving our parade decorum, but we will get there together. There will always be cadets who step forward to lead by example and guide the unit towards higher standards as we prepare for future NPAP and NDP parades.

Congratulations to all our newly promoted cadets! Continue to grow, lead and make Hillgrove NPCC proud. 💙

9th Jul, Our Sec 1 cadets embarked on an enriching learning journey to the Former Ford Factory at Bukit Timah, where they had the opportunity to experience history beyond the classroom! 🇸🇬🏛️ Through exploring historical exhibits, stories and artefacts, they gained a deeper understanding of Singapore’s wartime past and the experiences of those who lived through this significant period. It was a meaningful journey of discovery, reflection and learning, inspiring our cadets to appreciate the resilience and courage of past generations. 💪📖✨ #LearningJourney #hgvnpcc #FormerFordFactory ##LearningBeyondTheClassroom

Our Sec 1 cadets attended their first Area 18 Meeting on Police Procedures, where they learned basic police procedures, teamwork, discipline, and communication skills. It was a valuable experience that gave them greater insight into the role of the police while building confidence and friendships with fellow NPCC cadets. Here’s to many more learning experiences ahead!

On 6th May, our cadets had the opportunity to learn from SGT Wei Kang from Bukit Batok Neighbourhood Police Centre as he shared about the daily responsibilities and challenges faced by police officers serving the community. 🚔

Cadets gained valuable insights into policing work, crime prevention, and the importance of teamwork, discipline, and professionalism in keeping the community safe.

Thank you SGT Wei Kang and SPF Bukit Batok NPC for the meaningful sharing and for inspiring our cadets through this learning experience.

Total Defence is Singapore’s national strategy to ensure security and resilience. It comprises six pillars: Military Defence, Civil Defence, Economic Defence, Social Defence, Psychological Defence, and Digital Defence. Together, they strengthen the nation against external threats, crises, misinformation, and cyber risks, fostering unity, preparedness, and collective responsibility among citizens.

On 26th February, our Sec 2 cadets stepped up as mentors as they taught the Sec 1 cadets the basics of Total Defence through the engaging GOTC card game 🇸🇬

Through play, discussion, and teamwork, they explored the six pillars of Total Defence while building confidence and leadership skills.Learning by teaching. Leading by example. 💪✨#hgvnpcc  #TotalDefence2026 #tdd2026 #hillgrovenpcc #hillgrovenpcc2026
