With the above quote in mind, the P4 level teachers decided to share our expertise in teaching English Language, Mathematics and Science to NTU student tutors. We also had a session on Special Needs – Managing Children with ADHD. These NTU student tutors are in an organisation where they give tuition (at a very small fee) to deaf students or children of deaf adults (CODAs). We hope that through our sharing on teaching grammar and comprehension effectively, Mathematical conceptual approach, skills on answering Science questions and understanding students with Special Needs would benefit these NTU student tutors, so that they can use the pedagogical knowledge effectively when they tutor.
