5E’s Kind Act
4 April 2017
Pupils originally mooted the idea of giving our non-teaching staff a day off work in school. However, as the kind act was to stretch beyond school to reach the community, it was decided that the team of workers who worked tirelessly behind the scene should be acknowledged for their effort.
Pupils made contributions in monetary terms for the light refreshments for the guests. Our guests were given a very warm welcome as they made their entry into the conference room. After a brief welcoming speech by Mr Irwan, they were served with hot coffee and light refreshments. Pupils entertained the amused audience with an Indian dance which they have learnt during Modular CCA.
Pupils also had the opportunity to mingle with our guests and many were seen interacting comfortably with them. The guests were forthcoming in answering pupils’ queries, helping to facilitate small talk and putting the pupils at ease.
Overall, it was a meaningful kind act that made our guests felt appreciated and their work in our community recognized.

Let us do it together like this
“You sure you want to hear my story?”

As with all good things, it must come to an end. 5E pupils marked the end of their kind act with Usain Bolt’s signature victory pose.
