This week we have been learning how to use a mouse or trackpad to paint a picture.
We used the paintz app to help us learn to paint using trackpad.

The children were really focussed as they learnt how to use the trackpad to control the curser.

Internet Safety Day
After watching a special assembly on staying healthy online, we discussed what we had learnt.
As this is a unit we have previously discussed widely, all students were confident in suggesting that they shouldn't talk to strangers, to keep personal information private and to ensure they talk to an adult if they are unsure of anything on the internet.
We also shared our thoughts on how long we should be spending online, staring into our screens, and whether we have been making healthy choices.

We watched a 30-minute assembly during which we learnt about how we can stay safe and how to act responsibly and wisely in an increasingly digital world. The assembly had plenty of tips and advice from some of the biggest personalities on the web.
After the assembly, we completed a quiz to test our knowledge. Some of the children became the teacher!
