My learning goal from my personal project is to learn how to make content and specifically editing videos because i always wanted to make things on youtube and I think this would be great for my personal project.
My product goal for this years personal project is that I will create a YouTube channel where i will post videos of me teaching sim racing in the internet by doing hot lap videos/guide laps taking the viewers on a lap step by step.

The result of my Personal Project is that it was able to jumpstart my way into youtube. I am part of a sim racing startup and i needed to make content in a platform and by doing this I was able to start that journey because it allowed me to learn the basic things I need for the content creation.
Reflection My final product of the project which is the Youtube videos turned out well. The videos looked well but it didn't do well statistically. It barely got any views, comments and likes but it did have a good like to dislike ratio three of them got zero dislikes while one video got one dislike but the same video achieved the highest amount of likes which is 7 likes and 45 views. Before this project i already would've thought that i would barely get any views because when i asked mike about how he got lots of views he answered saying that he started making videos that everyone liked and it slowly changed to him making videos that he liked. Making videos on what other people like is very important because that way you get a lot of people's attention and when you switch to making videos that you want you will already get viewers from your old videos to your new videos that would explain why my view count is low. I did get some positive comments from the videos with people saying that the video was helpful which is good because the videos were indeed meant to be helpful. I did of course go through some obstacles like for example in the last video i made which i think is the worst titled “GT Sport Suzuka Track Guide” i went through a bit of a bug in the editing application. Particularly in the area of adding texts, i tried to add more information in the video as in indicators of which sector i am in, sector times, and corners but for some reason the application did not want to allow me to add a text until now i still do not know why that happened but nevertheless i still tried my best to finish that video. Obstacle number two would be buying an adapter for the laptop as i mentioned earlier my laptop does not have a usb port which is big problem. Without it I will not be able to transfer the clips to edit and upload on youtube and I've been to 4 malls to find one and none of them has a store that sells one because of that I had to buy it online. Since I don't own a card, I asked my father to buy the adapter for me. I don't know what happened but it took the whole month of December just to arrive. With that gone my time to make videos shortened so I was only able to upload four videos before I reached the due date of the product. The third and fourth obstacle was editing the video and making the clips obviously. Editing the video was hard due to the fact I was inexperienced at it looking back, my worst video was the first video, although it did well statistically it did not look as good as the second, third and fourth video. The graphics were a bit weird, the audio quality was a mess but nevertheless it's called progress. My best video would be either the second or third video. Those two to me were the best but i think the third one takes it because the thumbnail for the 2nd video was a bit too small leaving a big blank on the sides. I learned a lot from the time doing this project and I'm really glad I chose to do this because I can see myself making more of these videos in the future. It also made me feel good because even with the challenges I faced I enjoyed my time doing it. Would I say I reached my learning goal? Yes and did I reach my product Goal? Also a yes which means this project was a success.
