Sarah Kerrigan is a senior at Medina High School. She is not only an exceptional student, but she can also be found around the school in an art class, or at band. Though she may sound like any ordinary student, her dedication to her art and music career is something worth recognition. Sarah has taken every art class MHS has to offer (except two), is the Vice President of band, as well as a four year marching band member and two year symphony band member. These are all opportunities Kerrigan is beyond thankful for having, and also highly advocates for.

Recently, Sarah has been recognized at the Scholastic art contest. Kerrigan entered two pieces, one winning a silver key, the other getting an honorable mention. She is also committed to Bowling Green State University to major in art education and further her art career. Sarah's journey through art and music emphasizes the importance of having these programs available in schools.
