On Tuesday, we celebrated Sports Day. It was wonderful to see all the children taking part and demonstrating their resilience and team spirit. Well done to all of the children for taking part. Congratulations to Rainforest who won for EYFS/KS1 and Desert who won for KS2. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend and support these events, the children loved to see you and be cheered on.
This afternoon we held our Father's Day event. It was lovely to see so many of you come in to celebrate this with your children. We hope you enjoyed spending this time with them. To all those Dads, Grandads, Uncles and carers or just a wonderful role model, past and present - we wish you a very happy Father's Day.
We would like to thank the PTA for organising and running last week's quiz night. It was great to see members of the school and local community come together to take part in this event. The evening was a great success!
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

With football’s European Championships about to kick off, it’s likely that young fans will be inspired to take to the pitch themselves – or perhaps they’re naturally sporty already. High-profile tournaments such as this can be a great opportunity to teach children and young people about what constitutes being ‘a good sport’ – not just in terms of technique, but also attitude.
This guide collates our expert’s tips for encouraging fair play and friendly competition between children. It will help you to ensure that they can relish an enjoyable game of football, rugby or something else entirely — without unhealthy approaches to winning and losing polluting what could be an uplifting experience for all.
