Central idea: Access to human rights vary across the world.
This module, we have started by looking at human rights and establishing exactly what they are. We noted that there are 30 core human rights which every person in the world deserves access to, but as we have already seen through our class text, not everyone does. We are looking forward to seeing how much this access varies across the world. To show our understanding, we have applied our graphic art focus of Gail Anderson to form our own graphic-inspired human right artwork.
Alongside this, we have excitedly begun our exhibition work, already having created our central idea and lines of inquiry: now we are creating the work which we can not wait to share with you all on the 26th!
We also had our safety in action trip this week, which was a real eye-opener to the obstacles we are going to face in our upcoming years: it has really helped us think about how we can ensure that we stay safe and healthy!
