Central idea: The appreciation of art forms can be determined by the individual.

The children have worked really hard in Inquiry learning about different countries, artists and various approaches to expression. They have thoroughly enjoyed writing their biographies of their chosen artists which they look forward to sharing with you soon. 

In Maths we have concluded our topic on fractions which the children have increased in confidence and fluency. They have been converting mixed numbers to improper fractions, adding and subtracting and are also able to illustrate their understanding using bar models. I am very impressed with how hard they have worked to improve on their skills in this area.
