2Sequoia   Learning Update

Central idea:

This week we have introduced the children to The Nutcracker as our core text for line of inquiry 2. They have have thoroughly enjoyed reading the story and watching clips of the ballet. We have looked at non-chronological reports in preparation for the children to research and write their own information text based on the Nutcracker.

In maths we have continued looking at addition and subtraction, specifically comparing different number sentences. 

We are well underway with the nativity rehearsals and the children are doing a great job! We can't wait for you to see all their hard work!

Reminder: Please could all nativity costumes be in by Monday 4th December.
