Year 5: Supporting the Community

Linked to their central idea relating to roles and responsibilities, 5 Aspen ventured out into the village to involve themselves in a neighbourhood action day, and support the community they live in by litter picking! Their fabulous effort saw them collect over 14 bags worth of rubbish, thus making Marden a tidier place.

The organisers of the event have very kindly donated the litter pickers to the school, so expect to see many more classes out in the community and making a difference!
