KS2 Visit to Marden Cricket Club

Wow - what a day! On Thursday, KS2 walked to the Marden Cricket and Hockey Club for a session of cricket coaching, fun and competition. Working together in their houses, they did team relays using their fielding skills, followed by a circuit in which they learnt all of the essential bowling and fielding skills. After a much needed snack and water break, the houses competed in a game of cricket to put together all of their learning. We were very impressed with their catches, aiming and some impressive big hits! 

A huge, huge, huge 'thank you' to all of the team at Marden Cricket Club. They devote their time to inspiring so many children to play cricket and enjoy the sport. We are very grateful and definitely in need of a rest now (especially the teachers)!
