4Chestnut Learning Update

Central idea: Transportation systems can be developed to support the needs of a community. 

Using cardboard boxes we created a traffic light in science and DT. This was designed and planned first before they created them and involved creating a parallel circuit which included a switch. They worked really hard on the traffic lights and they look great! In music, they listened to repeating motifs and learnt a Roman marching song which included these. They then performed it on a glockenspiel. It was very noisy but great fun!
