Central idea: Forces of nature can move our world in many ways

This week, we have been looking at the development of technology. The children carried out an inquiry into the life of Alexander Graham Bell and the invention of the telephone. They wrote a recount in the first person to describe this momentous event. They also made their own string phones and were delighted to experiment with them in the playground to see how taut the string needed to be in order for their phones to work!
