1Willow Learning Update

Central idea: The weather can affect how people live.

We have been busy and doing lots of learning! The children have come back and immediately settled in again. We have started our first line of inquiry 'An inquiry into the different types of weather'. The children have produced some beautiful writing with imaginative descriptive sentences. The children have kept a weather diary and every day have carefully watched the weather and recorded it. In Willow class we have also been learning about the seasons and the changes that come with it. The children have been incredibly creative and have completed beautiful artwork that relates to the seasons.

We have begun place value to 20 in maths and the children have worked incredibly hard, showing understanding of tens and ones.
