4Chestnut Learning Update


Central idea: Cultural identity could be expressed through creativity.

At the beginning of the week, the children had a road safety workshop and discussed the dangers of crossing the road, especially at this time of the year with the darker evenings. This week in maths, we have looked at the 3, 6 and 9 times tables and the corresponding division facts. In Inquiry, we have researched the Indian Festival of Makar Sankranti and have written a non-chronological report about this. We used our water-colour skills to create a sunset or sunrise image to represent the festival.
