1Willow Learning Update

Central idea: Celebrations can enhance the way we see the world.

The children have been very busy this week! They have been producing some amazing pieces of writing and taking the time to really edit them and find ways in which they could better their piece of writing. Willow class got busy stamping with fruit as well as sketching what they look like on the inside which the children found incredibly interesting.

We have designed cakes and baked in teams this week in connection to our central idea.

In Geography this week the children have learned about the four countries which make up the United Kingdom and had a go at plotting this on a map.

In maths we have been learning about number lines and subtracting on a number line. The children were marvellous and showed great understanding.
