Today in Science, we have been looking at the properties of different rocks. First, we had to match and label the different rocks. We then had to catergorise them into either sedimentary, Igneous or Metamorphic. We had to test whether each rock was permeable, durable, whether it was high/low in density and lastly hard/soft.

For Internet Safety day, we learnt about how to keep safe and fun in a range of online social environments (E.g. livestreaming, gaming platforms). We learn ways to report concerns and access support both in school and at home about online bullying. We then used a parachute to swap places with someone else if we agreed with a statement. E.g. You have played an online game with a

family member. You have reported something in a game!

In Science, we did a fair experiment to find out which soil was most permeable. We set up the experiment using an equal amount of water and soil. We measured how much water soaked through the filter paper into the cylinder. We tested chalk soil, clay soil and peaty soil.

In ICT, we have learnt how to code flashing lights using the program Crumble.  Once we programmed the crumble to flash different colours and at different speeds, we used a Victorian scene with lights in the picture, poked holes and then placed the sparkle underneath.
