The NAACP, Greater Grand Rapids Branch, Environmental Justice Committee is a new community partner to the Environmental and Sustainability Studies Program. The committee aims to bring awareness to, and educate the community about environmental injustice suffered in the greater Grand Rapids area. The project for this class, taught by Professor Crystal Scott-Tunstall, is to create a brochure that will help inform the community about the committee. This tool of interpretation will be used as a prototype, sharing communication ideas with the committee.
